Our Summer Intern: Welcome Payton!

Welcome Payton!

Hello all,

My name is Payton Woods. I am going to be working with Blake’s Seed Based this summer as a Business Development Intern. I will be focusing on sales and marketing but also helping wherever the team needs me! I just finished up my junior year at Michigan State University. I am a marketing major in the Broad College of Business. I am originally from Champaign, IL. I love being outdoors, some of my hobbies include fishing, creating videos, taking pictures, and playing video games with my friends. I am also really involved in swimming. Last December, I made my Olympic Trials cut in the 50 meter freestyle! I would describe myself as a hard worker and love setting goals for myself and others around me. My friends would describe me as a leader but also a funny guy. I love to make people laugh, if you can't find humor in what you do, then you won't be happy with what you're doing.

I first found out about Blake’s Seed Based in August of 2018, when a friend of mine connected me with Blake via email. Blake and I are both athletes, and share a nut allergy so my friend thought that we would be a good match. Blake and I remained in contact over the past 9 months and in March I was offered a position to work for the summer. I want to help this company grow and do all that I can to make it successful, while learning along the way. I’m looking forward to the rest of this summer #seedyourpassion.
