 At Blake's Seed Based, our motto is #SeedYourPassion. We want you to go out in the world and pursue your passions, without being held back by your snack options. We seed our passion by creating snacks that everyone can enjoy, no matter the food allergy. We wanted to learn how others seeded their passions.

Here we interview Kennedy Adams, who is a Grand Canyon University volleyball player alum, and currently is a D1 athlete at Texas Tech University. 

5 QUESTIONS WITH KENNEDY ADAMS

1.  Our motto is at Blake’s Seed Based is #SeedYourPassion. What are you passionate about? 

 "I am passionate about taking initiative. I know that no one else is going to do the work for me, so I am inspired to create my own waves in society when I can. I am passionate about being the best human I can be."

2. Tell us about yourself and how you got started? 

 "I first started playing volleyball when I was about 8 years old competitively because my mother was a coach. I always went with her to practice and just wanted to play with the "big girls" and my mom said that if I was good enough that I could play with them if I wanted, so every night I would practice every night in the driveway of my house. I was always around the sport, in the gym, and I honestly still cannot get enough of it. I wanted to play every single day and I am happy to say I am still happily a gym rat." 

 3. What advice would you give to someone trying to find their passion? 

 "Some advice I have to give someone in search of their passion is don't compromise what you like to do just because someone tells you that you need to chose one sport or activity. Do as many things as you can, as long as you can and then you will start to find the things you like doing most... and for some people you can do multiple things at once at a high level anyways. Never compromise what makes you happy."

4. Do you have anything exciting coming up that you would like to share? 

"I have a fall volleyball season coming up at Texas Tech University. I am excited to start my graduate degree with this program and have 2 more years to play college volleyball. It is a very exciting time to be a Red Raider and I am looking forward to the success we will bring this year."

 "My favorite Blake's Seed Product is the Blueberry Lemon Snack Bar!"
